My Experience

Communications Assistant | September 2022 – Present

I’m the Communications Assistant for the CMU Information Systems Team. I help run the Instagram account (@cmu_is), update the IS websites, create digital graphics, as well as simply write emails to students and staff.

Publicity Chair | April 2024 – Present

I’ve been a part of Activities Board since September 2022. However, I’ve been a part of the executive board since April 2023, specifically working within the Publicity committee. This position usually consists of updating our social media accounts (@activitiesboard), especially before an event. As well as reaching out to campus services to best publicize the organization and our services.

Director of New Members | January 2024 – December 2024

In my sorority, Delta Gamma, I have been introduced to various leadership positions, but none spoke out more to me than being the Director of New Members. As someone who’s moved around a lot, and joined the organization a semester late, I understand the awkwardness of being the ‘new’ person. It’s my responsibility to facilitate weekly meetings with new members, smoothly integrating them into the chapter. Meeting new incredibly bright women at CMU and being a reliable older member, who can guarantee safety, a friendly face, and personal advice, is the highlight of my position.
